It took seven games, but the Oklahoma City Thunder eliminated the Memphis Grizzlies and advanced to play the Los Angeles Clippers in the second round of the NBA playoffs.
The Thunder and Clippers each won two games during their four games in the regular season.
This will be the first time the two franchises will meet up in the NBA playoffs.
Fans can expect high scoring in this playoff series, during their four matchups in the regular season both teams scored in 100’s in three of the four games.
Thunder head coach Scott Brooks says, the team will take Sunday, May 4, off from physical activity to study the Clippers game tapes and will take part in their normal shoot around before their game on Monday, May 5.
Brooks wouldn’t say if Caron Butler would continue to start for Oklahoma City.
