Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant will sit out the team’s game at Charlotte on Saturday, February 21.
Durant has been experiencing soreness in his right foot lately, playing just 10 minutes in the NBA All-Star Game, and noticeably limping late in OKC’s win over Dallas on Thursday night.
The foot is the same one Durant had surgery on in the preseason and that kept him out the first 17 games.
The Thunder say the soreness was expected, and Durant will be monitored on day-to-day basis.
He has not been ruled out for Sunday’s home game against Denver.
