This week we are honoring Luke Kinder of Carnegie High School.
Luke plays football, baseball and runs track.
He suffered a collapsed lung during his junior season and came back his senior year to rush for more than two thousand years and 27 touchdowns.
Off the field, Luke carried a 3.77 GPA, has been class Vice President all four years of high school and is also a Special Olympics coach.
If you would like to nominate a high school athlete who is a ‘Senior’ this year, just go to www.KFOR.com/athlete and tell us about the athlete’s accomplishments on and off the field. They could end up winning one of two $4,000 scholarships!
