Heavy rain this weekend in both Norman and Stillwater has caused the final two games of the Bedlam softball series to be cancelled.
4th-ranked Oklahoma was set to host Oklahoma State on Saturday in Norman, with the regular season finale for both teams set for Sunday in Stillwater.
Saturday’s game was cancelled, and the two teams were going to try to play a doubleheader Sunday in Stillwater at 11:00 am.
Field conditions were too poor, however, to get the games in and they were cancelled and will not be made up.
Oklahoma State’s season ends at 21-31, 3-13 in Big 12 play.
Oklahoma finishes the regular season 45-7, and outright conference champions at 14-2.
The Sooners await their NCAA Tournament fate, with the selections and regional host sites to be announced on Sunday night, May 10, at 9:00 central time.
