OKLAHOMA CITY – A woman is attacked for her phone in a local parking lot and authorities say she is not alone.

Sarah Smith says she was walking into the Wal-Mart at Belle Isle a few weeks ago.

She admits that she was texting a friend when she noticed something strange as she headed toward the doors.

Smith said, “I noticed two feet go past me pretty quickly and I thought that was kind of weird.”

She says she should have listened to her gut instinct because of what happened next.

She said, “The next thing I knew, one of them came back around and grabbed me.”

Smith added, “We struggled for my phone and I wasn’t going to let go. He took me further out into the parking lot where the other guy pulled up the vehicle.”

She was halfway in the car when she decided to let go of her phone.

Last month, a young mother also had her phone taken while she was in the parking lot of Gordman’s, located at N.W. 59th St. and May.

After her phone was taken, Smith says she started getting dirty text messages and pictures.

Photos from a nearby business captured two men on camera who Smith believes she may recognize.

Smith says one thing she is sure about is the look of that car.

She says the suspects tried to drag her into a  gold colored car.

Police investigating the Gordman’s case are also searching for a 2001 to 2005 gold four-door Chevy Impala with a partial tag of “896.”

If you have any information on either crime, call police.
