ARDMORE, Okla. – The search for Molly Miller and Colt Haynes took a long-awaited step forward this weekend as arrest warrants were filed in connection with their disappearance.
17-year-old Miller vanished back in July, along with Colt Haynes.
Miller and Haynes were riding in a car, which spun out in front of officers in Wilson, before it escaped after traveling 120 miles per hour in a pursuit.
Authorities have now issued arrest warrants for 32-year-old Sabrina Graham and her supposed boyfriend, 22-year-old James Conn Nipp.
Graham appeared in court Monday in Ardmore.
The state says she lied to police when she claimed her 2012 Honda Accord had been stolen.
Charges against her say she actually allowed Nipp to drive the car.
The damaged vehicle was found in Love County, near Nipp’s residence.
On Tuesday, Nipp’s family called the Love County Sheriff’s Office and asked the sheriff to pick up the 22-year-old if he turned himself in.
The sheriff met Nipp at his grandfather’s house.
Sheriff Joe Russell says Nipp told his father that he loved him before being taken into custody.
He also told the sheriff he had “no idea” where Molly Miller and Colt Haynes are right now.
Miller’s family is holding out hope for her safe return.
“We have no idea whether she’s alive or deceased. I won’t let myself think that she’s not alive,” Alex Miller, Molly’s uncle, said. “My heart’s broken. I want her home.”
Authorities say both Nipp and Haynes have faced drug charges in the past.
The OHP says at least five other vehicles have been found on or near Nipp’s residence.
All had similar damage and had been abandoned as well.
Miller’s family has been offering a $35,000 reward for information in Molly’s disappearance.
