OKLAHOMA CITY – A woman is behind bars after a 5-hour long standoff came to an end in southwest Oklahoma City.
Police were called to the 500 block of S.W. 25th St. around 5:45 p.m. Thursday on reports of a shooting.
Oklahoma City police say Phina Franklin shot a man and then locked herself inside her home with two other people.
A tactical team was called to the scene to assist.
Around 10:50 p.m., Franklin surrendered to the police after gas was deployed into the house.

The man Franklin allegedly shot remains in the hospital in stable condition.
Fortunately, no other injuries were reported.
Franklin was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail.

The victim was shot in the "upper body" and refused an ambulance. Someone he knew took him to the hospital but he should be ok. @kfor

Witnesses told me they heard yelling before the shooting. Saw a man standing in the yard…took a step back when he was shot. @kfor
