OKLAHOMA CITY – It’s every treasure hunter’s dream- a garage sale bargain worth hundreds.
A WWII memento that has been passed down through a family is worth more in sentimental value than on the open market.
A bronze French desk set is worth $75 to $95.
A piece of Japanese pottery is worth about $150, but was actually worth more years ago.
A watercolor painting by an Israeli artist was purchased at a garage sale for $2 for the frame.
However, it’s worth a lot more.
In fact, it could be sold for as much as $600!
Check if you have any treasures around your house that could be worth money!
Bring your antiques to local antique expert Matt McNeil, ISA CAPP, and he will determine if they are Trash or Treasure.
You may have two of your family heirlooms, antiques or prized possessions appraised for free. Large items like furniture and weapons are not applicable.
