LAKEWAY, Texas – An Austin suburb has put a restriction on the building of new swimming pools for the time being.
Why? All because of the drought.
Lakeway city officials said they want to make people aware the drought is quite serious.
Also, in the city of Austin itself, leaders said they may have to force water restrictions on filling pools if drought conditions get worse.
