ROGERS COUNTY, Okla. – Rogers County authorities say a child’s body was found in Oologah Lake Sunday.
Around 4 p.m., officials say the 8-year-old boy disappeared.
He was last seen at the edge of the water at Hawthrone Bluff on the north side of the dam.
Witnesses say the boy wandered into deep water and couldn’t swim.
His body was recovered from the lake around 6 p.m.
Officials identified the boy as Billy Delgado of Tulsa.
