TULSA, Okla. – Authorities arrested an Oklahoma mother after receiving an unusual 911 call.
According to FOX 23, officials from the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office, the Bixby Fire Department, Bixby Police Department and EMSA rushed to a home on Tuesday evening on a welfare check.
Dispatchers say they received a 911 call but only heard gurgling noises, leading them to believe that someone was in trouble or having a medical episode.
When officers arrived at the home, they found 30-year-old Danielle Anderson passed out and her 1-year-old daughter in a play pen.
Authorities told FOX 23 that they had a hard time waking Anderson and found pill bottles and drug paraphernalia around the home.
When she awoke, Anderson allegedly confessed to using methamphetamine.
Officers say they found Anderson’s phone and realized her daughter had called 911.
Investigators reported that Anderson cried when she learned about the call, saying, “This was a miracle from God and a wake-up call.”
Anderson was arrested on complaints of child endangerment, possession of drugs near a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia.
