OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities say the inmate who escaped from the Love County Jail was captured in Oklahoma City.
According to KTEN, U.S. Marshals found Emilio Garcia walking down an Oklahoma City road Wednesday morning.
Garcia reportedly escaped from the county jail last week.
Garcia and another inmate, Jesse Dean James, got away when James faked a seizure, causing jailers to open the cell.
Officials say that is when the two forced their way out.
James was arrested shortly after the men got away.
Garcia was in jail for several charges including possession of a stolen vehicle, aggravated eluding a police officer while endangering others and resisting arrest.
He is now facing charges in Oklahoma County.
