UPDATE: Authorities say 28-year-old Christopher Benson has been arrested in Tulsa on Thursday.
He has since been transferred to the Oklahoma County Jail.
At this time, he is awaiting formal charges.
However, he is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder.
OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police hope some recently released photographs will help them solve a case.
The pictures were taken just minutes before a deadly shooting early Saturday morning at Club Social, next to the Bricktown Canal.

Police say 28-year-old Christopher Benson may have been involved.
Authorities claim he allegedly made a deadly threat to security as he was being kicked out of that club.
“That’s somebody that had a problem with security. Had a problem with the establishment,” MSgt. Gary Knight, with the Oklahoma City Police Department, said. “Makes a threat about bringing a gun and shooting the place up.”
He added, “Then within five or six minutes, there’s gunfire and bullets flying toward the club. So, that’s certainly somebody we want to talk to.”
30-year-old Zachary Bowie was standing outside Club Social in the direct path of that gunfire.
He was taken to OU Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Mallory O’Neill, the Bricktown district manager, says visitors should not be concerned about their safety in Bricktown.
She said, “I can understand that train of thought but it’s a safe community. It’s a very rare happening.”
O’Neill says Downtown OKC, Inc. hires canal security for the weekends and works with Bricktown police on keeping the area as safe as possible.
She says they communicate with the property owners and business managers to discuss problems.
She adds they will “bump up” communications in Bricktown with the killer still at large.
“The police department, along with the association, anytime that we can improve on anything, we’re definitely going to take that opportunity,” she said. “And do that to hopefully prevent things like this from happening in the future.”
A warrant for first-degree murder has been issued for Benson.
