OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities arrested a man after witnesses claimed he was masturbating in the movie theater.
On March 27, officers were called to Harkins Bricktown after learning about a disturbance.
When they arrived, they saw a man being pinned to the ground by two men in the theater’s lobby.
According to the arrest affidavit, one of the witnesses was in the theater with his 16-year-old daughter when 41-year-old Israel Ramirez sat next to her.
“[Victim] heard some movement and looked over to see [Ramirez] masturbating in the movie,” the report stated.
When the victim’s father saw what was happening, he told officers he pushed Ramirez into the hallway, where an off-duty officer helped hold him until uniformed police arrived at the theater.
Ramirez was arrested for indecent exposure and providing false information.
