OKLAHOMA CITY – A 12-year-old is in “serious condition” after a dirt bike accident Wednesday evening.
Officials responded to the scene of Britton and Countyline Road.
The accident happened just after 7:15 p.m.
Residents in the area say the boy rode his bike around the neighborhood all the time.
Many are praying he makes a full recovery and for the others involved.
“I’m so sorry, bad stuff happens to the wrong people, at the wrong times. It shouldn’t have happened to him. Shouldn’t happen to anybody,” said neighbor Ashley Arledge.
The boy was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
Officials are not releasing the boy’s name because he is a juvenile.
Authorities are still investigating.
