Climatologists say Oklahoma’s wettest month has now come to and end and come up short.
Experts say during the month of May temperatures were higher than normal but rainfall was about two inches below the state’s average.
Officials said 2014 is now listed at the tenth driest spring on record.
They do have some good news.
Scientists said they believe June will bring hotter than normal temperatures but also above-normal rainfall in far northeastern Oklahoma.
