Years of dedication, commitment and hard work have paid off for dozens of Oklahoma’s FFA students.
The group boarded a bus on Sunday morning, then spent the next 24 hours traveling to Washington, DC.
Once there, the “cream of the crop” group learned about ways to serve their various communities.
The incoming Seniors were also scheduled to meet with members of Congress.
In addition to visiting historical monuments and museums, the students were planning on performing acts of community service in the D.C. area.
This trip was planned in conjunction with the Washington Leadership Conference.
Only elite FFA students are eligible to make the trip.
