OKLAHOMA CITY – While many fans are looking toward the post season, the Oklahoma City Thunder is warning fans to protect themselves against fraud.
“Our team website is the only source for guaranteed authentic tickets,” said Brian Byrnes, senior vice president of Sales and Marketing for the Thunder. “We want to see our fans in their seats, not stuck outside the arena because they purchased counterfeit tickets.”
Byrnes says that many sites may guarantee refunds if a fan purchases fraudulent tickets, but they cannot guarantee fans will be able to get into the game.
The Thunder will host the San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers for its final three home games of the regular season.
Tickets for the first two Thunder home games of the 2016 NBA Playoffs go on sale April 14 at 10 a.m.
