Oklahoma City man arrested after allegedly assaulting woman at local gas station

OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City man is facing charges after allegedly attacking a woman at a local 7-Eleven gas station.

On Sunday, officers were called to the gas station in the 1100 block of W. Hefner Rd. on an assault.

When police arrived, they spoke with the victim and took 26-year-old John Taylor into custody.

According to the arrest affidavit, the victim told officers she felt someone grabbing her behind and that “[Taylor] pressed his crotch into her butt.”

At that point, the victim told police that she ran behind the counter to get away from the alleged suspect.

According to the report, when Taylor tried to follow her, an employee stopped him.

Taylor is being charged with sexual assault and battery and assault and battery.
