GREENWOOD, Ind. – Police say a woman went to great lengths to get away from her husband after a domestic disturbance.

According to FOX 59, officials were called to a home last Saturday after learning about a disturbance.

When officers arrived at the home, they reportedly saw Dan Deaton leaving the scene.

When they caught up to him, he allegedly said that he was headed to the police station to report a crime.

Deaton said that his wife started arguing with him, so he turned the mattress over on her and sat on her to calm her down. At that point, she turned around and bit his scrotum.

However, Deaton’s wife had a different story.

She said Deaton threw her down the stairs, sat on her chest and put his hands over her face to stop her from breathing. She was able to free herself by biting his scrotum.

Deaton was arrested and charged with domestic battery.
