The name Manhattan comes from the real World War II secret project, Manhattan Project, which gave birth to the atomic bomb and changed the world forever. This story follows the scientists and workers who relocated to remote Los Alamos, New Mexico in a race to develop this game-changing technology. The fate of the world was in the balance.
The story is about secrets, some on a world-wide scale and others involving the lives of those living under enormous pressure.
Even though this series opens in 1943 the topics covered are relevant in today’s society.
