OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities arrested an Oklahoma City mother after they say she allegedly left her children alone while she went out with her friends.

Witnesses called police after seeing a 1-year-old child wandering around an apartment complex alone.

When officers arrived, three bystanders were with the children.

They told authorities that they saw a baby wearing only a diaper walking around and heard an older child yell, “I need help.”

When they followed the child inside an apartment, they told police they found another child asleep in a playpen.

According to the arrest affidavit, a child, who was around 6 or 7-years-old, told police that “Mommy left me in charge.”

When 30-year-old Tiffany Kemp came home, she was immediately taken into custody.

The affidavit claims she told police she went to the Grenadier Club with her friend and left another adult in charge of the children.

However, one of the children overheard the conversation and reportedly said, “She left us here alone. Mama lied.”

Kemp was arrested for child neglect, driving while suspended, operating a vehicle with altered decal and operating vehicle while taxes due to the state.
