OKLAHOMA CITY – A metro man allegedly tried to destroy his apartment after he was kicked out.

Police say Terrell Cotton snuck back into his old apartment and turned on the stove.

He also allegedly turned the heat up to 90 degrees, clogged the sinks, and left the faucets running.

The discovery was made when the neighbor directly below the apartment complained his ceiling was leaking.

Cotton is facing numerous charges including arson and 10 counts of endangering lives.

Police say the situation could have been deadly had the stove caught fire.
