LOGAN COUNTY, Okla. — A man is kidnapped, beaten, robbed, and held at knife-point by two men.

Deputies say it happened in the home of convicted felon Michael Robinson Jr. Although a wheelchair may limit his movement, detectives say that didn’t stop Robinson and another acquaintance from kidnapping, brutally beating and holding a man at knife point. The motive — detectives say Robinson told them the victim put the moves on his girlfriend.

Bruised and bloody from the attack, deputies say the suspects forced the victim into a car then drove to this convenience store and made him withdraw cash from the ATM.

While searching the property, deputies found several stolen weapons, drugs, and two large safes with undisclosed contents.

Jason Chambers lives across the street from the suspect. “They’ve been having legal trouble after legal trouble. They’re trying to be good people and get their act straight, it’s just really difficult to do.”

Robinson is facing charges for drugs, kidnapping, robbery, and having firearms.

And his girlfriend, who is at the center of the fight, is also behind bars. She’s awaiting extradition back to Florida to face forgery charges. Detectives are searching for that other suspect.
