This man’s proposal was not nearly as sweet as he thought it would be.
Michael Joseph had what he thought was the perfect proposal all planned out.
He met his girlfriend, Ann, had their first date two years ago at a McDonald’s.
Throughout the years, Ann joked that one day Michael would propose to her by using a chicken nugget box.
This gave Michael an idea.
He took her to the exact location of their first date and slipped an engagement ring inside a Crispy Chicken Deluxe burger.
“Will you marry me?” he asked as she opened the box.
“You’re not serious,” said Ann. “You can’t ask me to marry you in a chicken sandwich.”
“I thought it was a surprise,” he said.
Ann rejected Michael’s proposal, but there is still a somewhat happy ending to their story.
“We agreed to wait longer until it’s time to get engaged,” Michael wrote on the YouTube description.
