NOBLE COUNTY, Okla. – A man is facing charges for first-degree murder after another man was found dead on the side of an Oklahoma highway.

On Sunday, authorities say Jejuan Samuel, 25, was found dead on the grassy shoulder of highway 156 near Marland.

Officials say Samuel suffered trauma to his body; however, they did not go into detail about his injuries.

On Monday, Wayne Lee Delodge, 44, was arrested in Shawnee in connection to Samuel’s death.

It is unclear how Delodge and Samuel know each other.

Delodge was booked into the Noble County Jail for first-degree murder.

Online records show Delodge previously served time for assault and battery on a police officer and indecent exposure.
