TULSA, Okla. – Police in Tulsa say a suspect has been arrested in the 2014 slaying of a Tulsa man.
Sgt. Dave Walker says Robert Tyson was arrested Friday in Bartlesville for first-degree murder in the death of 41-year-old Verlin “Ray” Howard.
Tyson is being held without bond and court records do not list an attorney for him.
Walker says Howard disappeared from his apartment in northeast Tulsa on Sept. 4, 2014, and his body was found along a rural road in Washington County earlier this year.
A suspected cause of death has not been released.
