OKLAHOMA CITY – Police are investigating a threatening act of violence and attempted sexual assault at a metro grocery store.
The alleged crime took place at the Buy For Less on SW 29th in Oklahoma City.
A store manager said the victim is a minor.
She told police she was on her knees stocking merchandise on the shelves when Shawn Gray approached her.
According to a court document, the 33-year-old told the employee he “knew her family.”
The victim told the man “she did not know him and she did not think he knew her family.”
Next, Gray allegedly told her “Do me a favor” and “pointed down to his genital area.”
The employee told police she looked down and saw Gray’s “shorts were unzipped” and his “penis was fully exposed.”
The girl said she “attempted to scream for help” and he said “if you don’t do it I will kill your family.”
Police said the victim “believed that [the suspect] was forcing her to perform oral sodomy on him.”
She told police she looked up and down the aisle and did not see any of her co-workers or any customers.
To get help, officers said she “told [the suspect] to follow her to the bathroom.”
As they made their way up to the front investigators said she “saw her manager and ran out to him seeking help.”
Gray allegedly then shook his head and said “you shouldn’tve…. You shouldn’tve.”
A security guard detained him until police showed up.
Gray is in jail on an $84,000 dollar bond.
