Who is essential? Full list of ‘essential personnel’ amid COVID-19 outbreak

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – While state officials have ordered all non-essential businesses to close, there are a lot of questions surrounding what that actually means for some industries.

The U.S. government and the State of Oklahoma have released lists of what is considered essential.

The list of essential businesses is as follows:

Healthcare/ Public Health

Law Enforcement, Public Safety, First Responders

Food and Agriculture

Energy

Electricity Industry:

Petroleum Workers:

Natural and Propane Gas Workers:

Water and Wastewater

Employees needed to operate and maintain drinking water and wastewater/drainage infrastructure, including:

Public Works
