OKLAHOMA CITY — A man was caught allegedly naked and m in the bushes near a neighborhood cookout Saturday, May 2.
Christopher Daringer, 57, was arrested for indecent exposure after parents and their children allegedly saw him “playing with himself” in the bushes at S.W. 48th and May.
Police say Daringer was fully clothed by the time they arrived, but Daringer admitted he had his pants down before they arrived.
Daringer said he had some small cuts on his legs and was tending to them with his pants down, according to reports. He also admitted that he was not wearing underwear at the time.
Officers talked to parents who said that during a block party, some of the children came up and said they saw “an old white man” who was “butt naked” in the bushes and was “playing with his penis.”
Police then talked to the six children individually; they all said, in their own words, that the man was masturbating in the bushes.
Authorities learned that Daringer has several previous convictions for indecent exposure. According to reports, he was convicted out of Tulsa County in 1997, 2003, and 2008. He was also convicted for indecent exposure in Rogers County in 2001, and he is a registered sex offender.
Christopher Daringer was transported and booked at the Oklahoma County Jail.
