MUNFORD, Tenn. – Less than a month after winning the Powerball jackpot, a Tennessee couple is being sued by an inmate.

Last month, a Tennessee couple came forward, claiming they are one of the three winners from the massive $1.6 billion Powerball drawing.

John Robinson and his wife Lisa told the TODAY Show that John bought four Powerball tickets on his way home from work.

The computer chose the winning numbers of 04, 08, 19, 27, 34 and Powerball 10.

The couple decided to take the lump sum worth over $328 million.

Now, inmate Jonathan Lee Riches, also known as Jihadi Schitz, is suing the Multistate Lottery Commission, Powerball and the Robinson family for what he claims is his share of the prize money, Forbes reports.

Riches claims he is entitled to half of the Robinson family’s winnings.

The handwritten lawsuit claims Riches is the true winner of the Powerball because he sent allegedly frequently sent money from his prison trust fund to the Robinson’s daughter, Tiffany.

Riches claims he told Tiffany to give the money to her parents to buy lottery tickets.

He claims without his help, the family would not have been able to afford the tickets.

Riches also claims Tiffany was going to marry him and that the two of them planned to move to “a remote island full of milk and honey.”

Although the handwritten lawsuit is hardly legible, Forbes says it is evidently meant to be taken seriously.

According to Fox 13 Memphis, Riches is known for filing bizarre lawsuits like the one against the Robinsons.
