OKLAHOMA CITY – U.S. Marshals are asking the public’s help finding a man wanted in Oklahoma after he disappeared in October.
Authorities said 30-year-old Justin Matthew Long was convicted on multiple counts of lewd molestation of a 6-year-old child in Oklahoma in 2011.
Marshals said Long has interests in bestiality, infantism and pornography.
Lawmen said Long left Oklahoma after he was released from prison in October 2013.
Long was required to register as a sex offender but never reported to his probation officer after he was released.
He was last seen in San Diego, California, at the end of October after he was expelled from Mexico.
Marshals said he tried to seek asylum there but Mexican officials denied his request.
At the time no warrants were out for his arrest so they released him into California.
According to authorities, Long then contacted his probation officer, saying he was in a homeless shelter in San Diego and would be on his way back to Oklahoma soon.
He is not wanted for any sexual abuse charges at this time, just for disappearing and not reporting to his probation officer.
Officials said he has family in Kansas.
If you have seen Long, the U.S. Marshals would like to speak with you at (405) 231-4206.
