GLENCOE, Okla.—Wildfires continue to burn across much of our state and one of the worst hit areas is Glencoe in Payne County.

Saturday afternoon, fire crews were called from all over the area to help fight the blaze.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature fueled the fire, which changed directions multiple times throughout the day.

Many residents were evacuated from their homes as the fire drew closer.

We’re told at least 2,000 acres burned and the fire was still going late last night.

Many structures, ranging from homes to barns, were completely destroyed.
