Flash Point airs on Oklahoma‘s NewsChannel 4 Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. The show’s host/moderator is News Channel 4 anchor Kevin Ogle. Political insights are offered by former Oklahoma City Mayor, Republican Kirk Humphreys and former State Democratic Party Chairman Mike Turpen. The trio offers commentary and debates on timely issues.

News Channel 4’s Flashpoint is the only political TV show in Oklahoma City. With spirited debate that covers both sides of interesting and important topics, Flashpoint is sometimes irreverent, but always lively, entertaining, and informative.

Flashpoint is a hotbed for breaking news. Dealing with current issues, the show allows viewers to be “political insiders.” Past guests include: George W. BushTim Russert, Pat Buchanan, T. Boone Pickens, Tipper Gore, former Governor David Walters, U.S. Senator David Boren and Don Nickles, District Attorney Bob Macy, and other political figures

Flashpoint has received honors for political reporting from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters.
