Woman killed after accident on I240 near Eastern

OKLAHOMA CITY – A 16-year-old girl was killed in a fatal DUI accident on I-240 early Wednesday morning.

Around 3:30 a.m., police said 18-year-old Ashley Robison was driving northbound on Eastern with 16-year-old Courtney Snodgrass, 19-year-old Sabre Stoddard and a 17-year-old male.

As the vehicle approached I-240, the car crashed into the highway embankment and rolled.

Snodgrass and Stoddard were ejected from the vehicle as it rolled.

After being ejected, officials say the two teens landed on I-240 and were struck by at least one, possibly two, vehicles on I-240.

Snodgrass was killed in the crash.

Stoddard was rushed to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Officials say the 17-year-old male was also rushed to the hospital for his injuries and is stable.

Investigators said Robison, the driver, showed signs of impairment.

She was arrested at the scene for driving under the influence – causing great bodily injury and second-degree murder.

Officials say Robison suffered minor injuries in the crash.
