LOGAN COUNTY, Okla. — Roy Dodson says he got a call from a neighbor saying something suspicious was stirring on his 30 acres. So he took a drive on his golf cart to check it out.

“When they arrived, they noticed three people on the property that should not have been there,” Det. Greg Valencia with the Logan County Sheriff’s Office said.

“My daughter-in-law went over with me and she went over and said what the hell are you people doing over here?” Dodson said.

Detectives say Joseph Goble, Tabatha Lehr and Toni Lehr were caught red handed with Dodson’s belongings.

“There was a man that was loading stuff into the back of a little SUV. There was girl who ran into the mobile homes, I saw her and they got her. While they were checking them out and arresting them, they saw another woman run to the mobile homes and they got her,” said Dodson.

During the investigation, detectives learned the suspects stole a 26-foot travel trailer.

They also ripped out TVs and microwaves from the trailers they left behind; that totaled up to $25,000 worth of stolen goods.

Deputies also stumbled upon a freshly painted green trailer.

Dodson said, “It’s a beautiful little thing, if I left it over there another month he would have had it all fixed up and road worthy. “

He said the three are lucky they caught him on a good day.

“It’s a good thing the Lord was with me over there because as old as I am, I hate crooks and liars, and they’re both. These are things that if they wanted some of that stuff, I would have given it to them.”

Deputies also found the suspects also had meth. All of the suspects are facing charges for burglary, larceny, and drugs.

Although the suspects are behind bars, the owner still can’t retrieve all of his stolen items because some of them are stored on the property of another person they haven’t been able to reach.
