Norman police investigating early morning homicide

NORMAN, Okla. – Police are investigating a Norman homicide that happened overnight.

Around 1:35 a.m., police were called to reports of a shooting in the 300 block of N. Cockrel Ave.

Officials say when they got to the scene, they found an adult male with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

Police have located all individuals and the vehicle involved in the shooting.  They are being questioned.

Investigators are still trying to piece together what led to the shooting.
