Taylor Adams

Taylor was born and raised in Oklahoma and is so grateful to be telling the stories of Oklahoman’s in her home state! Before joining KFOR, Taylor worked at the ABC affiliate, KAKE-TV, in Wichita, Kansas. While there, she worked as a reporter for the evening news, covering crime and politics, including a controversial mayoral election.

Taylor was a contributor to KAKE’s Investigative team. Her work included a medical story about a young girl with a mystery illness. The girl experienced lung failure and later died at just 17 years old. Doctors later discovered a commonly taken antibiotic could be the cause of her death. Taylor’s work on this story helped doctors find links to other patients who had experienced the same reaction but didn’t know why.

She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a degree in Professional Media and Broadcasting. Taylor grew up in the Deer Creek school system in Edmond, where she discovered her love for current events and public speaking through Speech and Debate. Without the program, Taylor says she never would have considered television news as a profession.

When she’s not working, Taylor enjoys cooking, reading and caring for her huge collection of house plants! She is ecstatic to be home and can’t wait to meet more Oklahomans every day!
