Lauren Daniels is a lifelong Oklahoman.
Born and raised in Guthrie, she grew up showing American Quarter Horses.
She went on to be an All-American on the National Champion equestrian team at Oklahoma State University, where she earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
After college, she began her career at KSWO in Lawton where she started as a reporter and just four months later was promoted to weekday morning anchor.
Now – she reports on traffic and trending stories, as well as serving as a fill-in anchor for the KFOR morning shows.
After the morning show, she heads out the door to report on daily news stories for the evening newscasts.
Daniels and her husband Colby have a son named Carter, who they welcomed in 2016.
In her free time you can find her on the back of a horse, or taking Carter for rides on his pony, Chunky.
