Jacklyn Chappell

Jacklyn Chappell joined the KFOR team as an Anchor/Reporter in December 2018. Raised in Edmond, Oklahoma, Jacklyn is no stranger to News 4. She spent her last year of college working the KFOR assignment desk, writing scripts and following around any reporters that would be willing to mentor her. (Thanks Sarah Stewart and Jessica Bruno!)

After college, she packed her bags and moved to our neighbors in Kansas. She spent a year reporting at KAKE News in Wichita and covered everything from tornado damage and severe weather to crime and a high-profile missing child case.

She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma in December 2017 with a degree in Mass Communications. While at UCO, she anchored and reported for the university’s live newscast and was the recipient of the college’s Outstanding Broadcast News Award.

When she’s not at work, Jacklyn loves going to concerts, trying new restaurants, rewatching the Lord of the Rings trilogy and running with her dog.

She is happy to be back in her home state and can’t wait to share the stories of her fellow Oklahomans.
