Investigation underway after two shot, killed in Clinton

CLINTON, Okla. (KFOR) – An investigation is underway after two people were shot and killed in Clinton over the weekend.

On Sunday, at around 7:30 p.m., police responded to a reported shooting at an apartment complex in the 300 block of S 6th St.

When police arrived, they found two people in the apartment dead with gunshot wounds.

The victims were identified as 24-year-old Gabrielle Hawthorn, of Clinton, and 27-year-old Deshawn Wooden, of Clinton.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation was called to assist in the investigation.

Police say the incident remains under investigation.
