Police make arrest in connection to Midwest City teen’s murder

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. – Police have made an arrest in connection to a local teen’s murder

Around 11:30 p.m. on April 20, 2015, 18-year-old Christopher Johnson was found dead in the street, near N.E. 15th and Spencer Rd.

Police say he had been shot to death.

Authorities believe Johnson was walking home at the time of the shooting and may have encountered someone in ESA park.

He was a student at Star Spencer High School.

This week, Midwest City police announced they made an arrest in connection to the case.

Alex Brown, 18, was arrested for first-degree murder.

Police believe he was an accessory to Johnson’s death.

He was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail.

No other information has been released at this time.
