COMANCHE COUNTY, Okla. – A disturbing case out of Comanche County sounds like it came straight out of “50 Shades of Grey.”
A local author was arrested, accused of bringing a teen girl to Oklahoma to have a sexual relationship with him and take part in his bondage lifestyle.
He’s a best-selling author on Amazon for books on domination and submission.
He writes under the pen name Michael Makai.
Authorities said the underage girl he picked up was reported missing and endangered to New York state police.
The girl’s Facebook account led investigators to Makai’s home in Lawton.

Makai is candid about his alternative lifestyle on his website, social media and even a YouTube channel full of explicit discussions on sex toys, bondage and fetish groups.
His Amazon.com biography said he’s retired from the army and, under another name, ‘Mike Sage,’ he founded ‘Mitt Romney radio.’
But, to authorities, he’s Charles Michael Segaloff, a convicted sex offender, who lives in Lawton, Oklahoma and runs ‘House Makai.’
On his website, Segaloff describes it as a home for “group marriage” that he hopes will become a non-profit.
Investigators said they went to the house to talk to Segaloff after they found a missing teenage girl’s Facebook account was logged into from there.
Police asked to search the home, but they said “Segaloff refused, because he had several sexual items in his room. He did not want officers looking.”
Through a search warrant, officers found the girl’s tablet.
It had a nude photo of her with Segaloff.
He’s 59-years-old, and the victim is 17.
The victim told police she found Segaloff on Facebook back in January, as she was curious about the bondage lifestyle.
She reportedly told police she met him for the first time in person earlier in December in Greenwich, New York when he came to pick her up to take her back to Oklahoma and fulfill his sexual demands.
She told police she’s lived at House Makai since Dec. 10.
Court records show the girl told investigators “Segaloff asked her to perform sex acts with him and with ‘Kitten,'” Segaloff’s girlfriend.
The girl told police “she is to do what she is told” and call Segaloff “Daddy.”
Lawton police arrested Segaloff for harboring a runaway, and he was arraigned in court Tuesday afternoon for travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual activity.
