The Indiana Pacers put a major dent in Oklahoma City’s chances of making the NBA Playoffs with a 116-104 win.

Russell Westbrook did everything in his power to keep the Thunder alive. He dropped a career high 54 points, added 9 rebounds and 8 assists. That ties Kevin Durant’s franchise mark of 54 points for most points in a game.

However, Westbrook picked up his 16th technical foul of the season in the 4th quarter. That means he faces a one game suspension if the NBA doesnt rescind the technical. Westbrook could miss Monday’s home finale against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Thunder had their worst free throw shooting performance in Oklahoma City history going 11 of 28 from the stripe.

Pacers guard CJ Miles torched the Thunder for 30 points. The Pacers shot 50% as a team.

OKC desperately needs the Pelicans to loose the rest of their remaining three games, while the Thunder need to win out to have a shot at the post season.

The Thunder tip off against the Blazers at 7 Monday night for the regular season home finale.
