OKLAHOMA CITY – While the Oklahoma City Thunder continue to fight through the rest of the season, the team’s superstar is fighting to get healthy.
On Tuesday, the Oklahoma City Thunder announced that forward Kevin Durant underwent successful bone graft surgery.
The surgery was necessary to repair a damaged fifth metatarsal in his right foot.
This is the third foot surgery Durant has undergone this season.
On Tuesday morning, Durant tweeted an appreciative message to his fans.

Durant will miss the remainder of the 2014-2015 season and is expected to return to the court in the next four to six months.
