CATOOSA, Okla. (FOX23) – A 25-year-old man is recovering after being shot in the chest by his grandfather.
When they arrived, they found the 25-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Authorities say the victim’s grandfather was also in the home at the time.
“The grandfather has basically stated that he feared for his life,” said Chief Kevin McKim, with the Catoosa Police Department.
Officials say the investigation is ongoing but the family is no stranger to the police department.
Right now, it does not appear that any charges will be filed in the case.
