Reed Timmer, who is well-known for his Dominator vehicles and his appearances on The Weather Channel, popped the question to Maria Molina.
Molina, a meteorologist for Fox News, made the announcement on her Facebook page.
According to Fox News Insider, Timmer was planning to propose while the couple was storm chasing.
The pair met while covering a tornado in Arkansas earlier this year.
According to the website, the couple is planning the wedding for November or December of 2015.
