OKLAHOMA CITY – This week NewsChannel 4 turns 65 years old.
All week we will be celebrating with some of the folks who helped make this station great.
We talked with former meteorologist Harry Volkman about his time at the station.
He discussed how modern weather warnings were born at NewsChannel 4.
Although it was against the rules of the government, Volkman issued the first official televised tornado warning right here at NewsChannel 4.
