The Oklahoma City Thunder still have work left to lock up the Western Conference’s second seed after losing to the New Orleans Pelicans 101-89.

Pelicans guard Tyreke Evans hurt Oklahoma City late several times with driving layups and finished the game with 41 points, nine rebounds and eight assists in their win.

With the loss, the Thunder now need to win their last game of the regular season against the Detroit Pistons or a loss from the Los Angeles Clippers in either one of their remaining two games.

Kevin Durant paced the Thunder with 25 points, in a game that Russell Westbrook sat out due to rest.

Serge Ibaka finished with 22 points and 16 rebounds and Caron Butler added 14 of his 19 points in the second quarter.

The Thunder’s regular season finale is Wednesday, April 16, at 7:00 p.m. CT at home versus the Detroit Pistons.
