OKLAHOMA CITY – Police now have suspects behind bars after a man was found with his throat slashed at his Oklahoma City apartment last month.

At the beginning of November, 48-year-old Virgil McKinney suffered a deep cut to his neck and was bound with tape.

Authorities said they found a butcher knife, lots of blood and signs of a struggle at the crime scene near N.W. 122nd St. and Penn. Ave.

McKinney was not able to speak when police arrived and couldn’t give them information on his attackers.

Now police have arrested 22-year-old Dennis Day, Jr. and 21-year-old Theresa McDonald for the attack.

They are now facing assault, kidnapping and robbery charges.
